Maybe slipping Albus a note and asking to meet was not the best of ideas in light of recent comments. Especially with the word date clearly written in his superb penmanship on the parchment. Anyone could find the note, after all.

But, being that Scorpius had glanced his incredibly cute boyfriend's way forty-eight times of count during dinner (or so Rigel says), followed by a lot of not-sleeping (because of thoughts involving aforementioned boyfriend), and knowing the exact book to hide the note in the following morning (the one Albus has been reading from every morning), he'd decided it was an absolutely brilliant idea.

Until he's actually waiting on Albus in the unused classroom on the sixth floor.

By then, he's nervous again.

Not for the date itself, if that still happens and Scorpius hopes it does, but because he knows he has to tell Albus about the probable rumours. He has to, of course. Albus has every right to know and thinking of keeping it from him had been stupid.
